Valentine’s Day

We did catch up chores all day long. Then finally, in late afternoon, managed to have some friends over, whip out some heart shaped cupcakes, get out the heart shaped plates for our romantic family (plus a few extra kids) dinner of sandwiches and green beans and make a little merry. Now the wind is howling and it is freezing and everyone has gone to bed early except the sleepover girls who are still giggling. This day was not full of romance or full of lonely angst. It was just full of regularness. I like that.

Oh, and Romeo had a bath. LiELie parted his hair and combed his eye brows. He’s a dapper old man.
