Many things to worry and complain about these days. My life did not go as planned in my 43rd year that’s for sure. But as I lay here tonight counting the minutes until I turn 44 I’m really truly thankful for so many things. Here are some of my thankful highlights of the day:

This girl especially – Who thinks tucking in her shirt = 80’s costume. She is utterly ridiculous. No one makes me laugh more.  I cannot imagine where she gets it from!🌳🍎

This guy, who can entertain himself for 75 minutes by pretending to be the pants bandit when all he has with him is a wet bathing suit to play with during a traffic jam. πŸš—πŸš•πŸš™πŸšŒπŸšŽπŸŽπŸš“πŸš‘πŸš›πŸπŸšš

My dog because he’s better than your dog and even buddha’s dog. Traffic jams give him a HALO of golden light while the rest of us go all Lord of the Flies and start putting pants on our heads. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

My family, because they eat whatever messed up food I bring over, even if it got messed up because I brought it to the gym and then got sidetracked helping a stranger with her study abroad application. I also never actually worked out while I was there because I was holding a cake……like one does at the gym. πŸ‹πŸΌπŸŽ‚πŸΈ

For helpers while I am working at home. So many helpers….

I’m thankful for the people who make things like this and put it on the Internet.

I’m thankful that once upon a time this happened

I’m thankful for my friends because they have proven that when the going gets rough, they cowgirl up.  And they bring cake and wine and they listen. And they give me coffee and drive my kids to camp and add photos to my website and don’t judge me on my potluck items. See photo above. ^^ So thanks everyone for all that you do. Especially for the listening. It really helps. 😘😘😘

Bring on 44!
